As a boy, inspired by watching his Dad, he had developed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. This inspired him to become a Scientist, an Inventor, Explorer, Real Estate Develope/Investor, a Horserace Owner, a Corporate Executive and Entrepreneur. A true Patriot and Humanitarian, at the age of Seventy-one, he was knighted by Pope John II into the Knights of Malta, Order of Saint John of Jerusalem in recognition of his countless humanitarian works. Now he adds the title "Author". DR. JOSEPH P. D'ANGELO has accomplished all of this in just his first Ninety-four years of life No matter what your age, READ, ENJOY and BE INSPIRED by the incredible, amazing life of a man who has lived an honorable life, dedicated to helping those less fortunate, he has lived each day with his mantra, "DON'T QUIT", from a poem given him by his High School Dean.

My devoted Secretary, Ms. Ingrid Palmer, who has worked dilligently by my side for almost two decades, suggested I write a book about my life. I dismissed the idea. She, along with several people close to me persisted and finally convinced me the story of my life may benefit others. IF my story proves to be an inspiration to young people to dream, to set goals, and to work to make their dreams a reality, then I will consider my efforts in giving a brief insight into my life, my successes and my failures to be a project worthwhile.Writing this book brought back a flood of memories of my experiences and I have included the euphoria I felt in achieving my goals, the sorrow and pain I felt during certain incidents involving my immediate family, and the depression experienced when I failed.I have lived over nine decades with one driving thought; "DON'T QUIT!" This I learned through a Poem by an unknown author, given to me by theDean of Boys at Lafayette High School, Buffalo, NY. DR. JOSEPH P. D'ANGELO was born on 01 October 1921 in Buffalo, New York to Italian Immigrate Parents. Growing up, witnessing the crash of the financial markets, the implementation of "Prohibition", and then the devastating "Great Depression". He could have chosen a life of crime, even become a Soldier in the Western New York Mafia as were several of his relatives. However, through his Dad & Mom's dertmination, encouragement and inspiration, he chose to become a Piano player, Composer, Music Arranger, served his country in WWII, then worked his way through college, Medical & Dental Schools. He became a renowned Maxillofacial Surgeon. He founded his own Dental Specialty Hospital in Buffalo, Having developed an unquenchable thirst for knowledge while watching his Dad, he became a Scientist, and Explorer, Corporate Executive, Horserace Owner and Humanitarian. Recognized by Pope John II, he was knighted into the Knights of Malta, Order of St. John, in Vatican City, Italy in 1992. He has accomplished all this in just the first Ninety-four years of his life.An unassuming, self-efacing man, Dr. D'Angelo now adds the title "Author" to his accomplishments."My Life - My Way" is a brief insight to the incredible life of this amazing man.
